The tool options are placed on a special floating palette, somewhat the same sort as in Photoshop 5 and 5.5: they do'nt have an option bar as is the case for later Photoshop, InDesign or XPress versions. Note the local pop-up menu, here for the Line Width, which is specific for this software specially aimed for inked drawing. Ink strokes can be enlarged or thinned, even once the plate has been finished, saved and closed; they can be either thinned along their full length or in selected areas, which is both a remarkable and a very useful feature.
