Manga Studio EX offers you 18 balloons varieties. The models are very basic ones, in contrast with the present trend of the comic world, especially of Belgian-French origin which is more and more creative in that respect. However, you can very easily draw your own balloons with Manga Studio, and this is quite simple to do with the vectorial functions of the EX version. Alternatively you can do that, as well as the text, inside Photoshop (not with the amateur version Photoshop Elements but under the professional one since version 6), the balloons being there drawn thanks to vectorial Shape Layers with a Black outline as a Layer Style.
